Quick question for any other owners of a 2017 RP-180:

Online specs show this unit is supposed to come with a USB charging port. Do you have one in yours? And if so, where is it? There is a USB input on the stereo head end, is that what they're referring to? I thought maybe there was an electrical outlet with USB but I can't find anything like that in mine-- other than the one I just wired in as part of my very first mod.

Is yours a blue pod or a green pod?

Strange. There's no outlet at all there on mine. Just the status panel and the thermostat.

Here's a photo.

There was some confusion right at the beginning of the 1st blue run.. it's possible yours was an early enough build that it hadn't been incorporated yet.

Thanks FurPod. That makes sense--just hope it doesn't mean I'm in for some of the quality issues (leaks, delamination, etc.) that some folks seem to have experienced with early batch 2017s. Was hoping that, buying now, I'd get a more recent unit where any major bugs had been shaken out.

Mine also lacks the power tongue jack, but otherwise seems to have everything listed as a 2017 feature.

I did install an aftermarket USB plug, along with a voltmeter, by following instructions I found here on this very helpful forum. Tonight we're planning to spend our first night in the 'Pod, even if it's just in our driveway.
