Yes, We've been there once, stopped at the bakery, more.  Lived in Hondo for a year while I commuted between Lytle and San Antonio for school.  Wish we would've eaten there more, but we'll stop there again when we go through.

My wife and I lived in a motorhome fulltime for 6 years.  We spent 1 winter at the city campground there in Castroville.  Your right the bakery is good!  I'm not sure if I said the right restaurant or not.  It is on a back street close to a church.  If you haven't been to the city park you should check it out some time.  There are more people from San Antonio use it that from Castroville.
