i left my pop up for a pod. my last camp trip last year, it poured the night, into the day we left. Everything was soaked putting it away. that was the end

Well, I vote for the Pod. I've owned several popups and travel trailers over the years. The TTs have more/better amenities and better protect from the weather. They can be used with no or next to no setup, if needed.

Popups tow easier but then, there is setup and take down. If taken down wet (rain or dew) then they must be setup again to dry out.

Both will be cramped.

I carry my dome tent with me and can have the best of both worlds, if I want. The R-Dome could also function like this and/or to create more living space.

HELP!!! Trying to decide between a used rpod 182G or a large pop up with pop out kitchen etc.  Have 2 small kids and a retriever and a pom.  Any advice...I know it may be cramped...Im scared.
