Hi All, from Abbotsford, BC.  2 weeks ago at an outdoor archery shoot, I finally said no more!  I'm tired of sleeping in the back of my truck and in tents.  It was pouring rain, when I made that decision. Thumbs Down I went to a RV lot and took a look at 2012 RPod 171, they had on consignment.  It was love at first sight! It was in great shape.  Perfect size for me, and the dry weight of 2205 lbs, made it ideal for my 3.6 L Dodge Ram 1500.  I brought it home, 4 days ago, and have been setting it inside to my liking.  Tomorrow, I'm heading up to Kamloops BC, for another 3D archery event, and looking forward to camping out of the Ipod. Big smile

Nice set-up.  Nice 171.  Haven't been to Kamloops since the late 1960's, was a pretty rugged ride back then in the back of our 1966 Dodge Polara pulling a Sears 4 man pop-up camper.

I remember those days back then.  We were in an Alaska camper....also pop-up.  We fished a lot of the lakes around the area.  It's all highway and blacktop, now.

Great looking rig!!  Hope you enjoy it as much as I have our pod

Great to have a nice warm cozy place to be in when weather turns sour.

Congratulations!!! Sounds like you've made a great decision for your lifestyle. I'm not even sick of tent camping yet, but still happy to now also have a wonderful trailer. Especially for when it's raining :-) Fond memories of Kamloops in the early 90s. Fifth gear went out on the Honda Accord I was driving and they did a great repair job while we went camping in a rental car. Everyone we encountered in Kamloops was helpful and friendly. Have a wonderful time!
