Correct. I have the King Quest for DIRECTV. I get about 95% of my home service. I just added a receiver. H24 Receiver was free. It is SD only. No HD. Getting it programmed was a real pain. I had to call DIRECTV after the tech left to get it setup for my pod. I had to use two 50' cables to get to a clearing to the southern sky. I was worried that might be too far but absolutely no problem at all.
The app I use is SatFinder. I use the lite version. Need satellite 101. With the King Quest all you need is three things. A clear or almost clear opening. Level the unit and the handle due north. It will find the satellite 101. Automatic. King Quest is about $200 cheaper than Winegard(?).
