Metal "carport" style units for r pod storage

I had a 2010 R Pod 172 and when we were not camping, I covered it with a Classic Cover.  Always a pain to put on and also I had some mildew and slight mold problem.  So, I quit using the cover and the problem went away.  We recently bought a 2016 R Pod 172 and I would like to cover it with a metal carport type cover that we can just drive it under after camping for storage to keep it out of the elements.  Do any of my fellow poders out there have their pod stored under such a cover.  If so, what would you recommend.  I live in middle Georgia if any one would like to recommend someone.  Or, please tell me your experience with this type of cover.  Any advice will be appreciated.

What? Only one metal cover? I guess most just leave them out in the weather

If you live in the desert southwest, the sun is brutal and fiberglass will get "hairy" when it gets old, then you have to sand it and reseal it with gelcoat and re-paint it.  Been down that road with fiberglass cars and the roof or a VW camper van.  The sun fogs all the lenses on our cars and campers if they sit outside also and ruins the interior and dashes.  Very brutal.  I have a 4 1/2 car garage for my cars/trucks/motorcycles and the big car port for the RVs.  Saves a lot of money in the long run.

I am in the process of building a metal shed for my rpod. It will be closed in on two sides to protect against the damaging Texas UV rays. I can almost guarantee that if left out in the sun and weather long enough any fiberglass trailer will deteriorate and develop leaks.
