All I wanted from RPOD is a part number from them. The dealer wanted a picture and length of hose   I’ll do that when I return home. This is my second rPOD and I always enjoy showing the pods inside. I talked to the GM at the dealership and explained to him my wanting to help them to have the parts available when I came in for repairs. I did buy close to home. I jus don’t want my pod setting at the shop waiting for parts. Thanks for your comments.

The problem is, there isn't a "part number". Plumbing, both water and gas on travel trailers just don't work that way. Your dealer is doing you good by asking for a picture and length, which means they are going to try to get a hose ready BEFORE you come in to get it, or bring the trailer in.

Unfortunately, because not all people are "honest", no manufacturer or dealer sends out parts, or does warranty work, without paperwork and proof of need/claim. So if the dealer is doing anything, without having physically inspected the trailer and replicated the fault, IMHO, you have a dealer that is trying to do "the right thing by you"..

BTW, if you ever do a factory tour, you will see they have wiring, plumbing, and systems "build boards" for each floor plan. They don't order in, or even build, a "part number" for any Pod. They build the parts that make up the system and hand it off to the guys doing the assembly.

Thanks furpod for your good information. I'll do as the dealer wants. Thanks again. Mike
