One plus three in one day! R-Pod sightings, that is.

First was on March 3rd while we were heading south on I95. We sighted an R-Pod heading north around mile marker 24 just north of Lumberton, NC.

The other three were on March 14 as we were headed back home from Florida. All three were in Florida. The first was located at Paradise Oaks RV Resort along CR475 near Bushnell. We stopped and spoke with a very nice lady. She and her husband are from Oregon. I told her about the forum and hope to see them here.

The second on March 14 was near the junction of highway 441/301 at Ocala. This was about 2:30 p.m. This one was one of the Rings R-Pods.

The third was heading south on 301 about 3 miles south of Starke. This was about 3:20 p.m.

If one of these 'Pods was yours, hello.

We were not towing our R-Pod this time because we were staying at my parents' house. The park where they are does not allow us to park our R-Pod, even if we are not staying in it and their RV storage lot stays full. The family was there because of Dad's heart attack. He is doing much better and is in rehab. We are now home so now I am working on my latest mod. I will write about it and post pictures when it is finished.

That is pretty neat.  In northern Michigan, it is a rare sight for us to spot one, even during the summer months.  Last September, when we traveled to RMNP in Colorado we went the whole distance out and counted a total of ZERO pods along the way.  Prayers for your father, am sure he is in good Hands.

What I find really odd is, I live within 25 mins of a dealer, who as of last year has decided that they are going to sell mostly r-pod's, and a few T@B's, and a new model that is like a larger T@B, as their mainline. Yet, I still don't see pods as i'm out and about. Last year I was in maine, and I saw so many pod clones that I didnt know existed, one was called "Alto" I think. I was shocked one day that I was towing the pod and i noticed what looked like a pod in my rear view. I slowed down a bit and yup, it was a blue pod. So it must have been weird for others to see two identical campers back to back. What was weird to me was that pod followed us to within 15 minutes of our house. So I assume that there is a "cousin" pod close by, so maybe sightings will go up. The local dealer swears to me he sells these things very quickly. I guess he might have people coming from far away to pick up.
