Keep them under an inch and you should be okay.

From what I could glean from the r-Pod assembly videos, the roof and front wall assembly are basically framed in with 2x2's, i.e. 1 1/2" or 1 3/8" depending on the species of softwood, and filled with insulation. Thus, putting screws in the interior of those walls/ceiling will only be held in by the integrity of the very thin wall panel. If you can, try to hit the cross member 2x2 to mount your screws, then they won't be as vulnerable to being pulled out. A stud finder can help you find them. Costco has a really good one on sale right now and it's worth every penny of the price.
