We recently purchased our 179 used, and it came with two complete sets of keys, but on one set the storage compartment door and outside shower door key didn't work.  The one that did work was labeled CH751.

Looking online for a replacement key led me to http://www.truckcamperadventure.com/2013/03/replacing-your-worthless-ch751-locks/.  60% of all RVs use CH751 keys...  Wow, cheap and easy, thanks FR.

Eventually, Google led me to http://www.rvlocksandmore.com/LocksKeys/Security-Upgrades/CLB-Cam-Lock-Barrel, where I order a replacement for the worthless CH751 keys and specified the number on my trailer door key as the replacement key.

I ended up ordering a 1 1/8" camlock replacement for the storage compartment and a 7/8" one for the shower compartment.  I really needed a 5/8" for the shower compartment but they don't make them that small.

I installed them today and with a slight modification to the camlock bar for the shower compartment they work great.  I would like to find a large washer I could put on the shower door as it is thin plastic.

This picture shows how much of a bend I put in the camlock bar.

I have now eliminated a key from my trailer keyring and received two spare trailer door keys.

TLDR: Replaced storage and outside shower compartment locks with new locks that are the same as the trailer door locks.

I put a combination lock on our storage compartment door:

This one has 4 digits instead of the 3 digits on most other ones, making it 10 times less likely to be opened by guessing the combination.

I also installed the same lock (same key as door) on my storage compartment.  Easy to do and makes trailer life easier.
