Hi. While doing wax on, wax off, I found that the trim on the right, rounded front edge,of my 2017 M179 has pulled away from the the side wall. I tried to push the trim back into position, but it would not close the gap. I can see the edge of the side wall. Any suggestions for a fix. This R-Pod is only a year old this month, and I am not the original owner. Thx.

Pull the plastic cover that is over the trim strip. Back the screws out in the area that is pulled away. Make sure they are not rusted or corroded. Get longer screws. Push the trim back in place, use the longer screws for a better, deeper "bite". Recaulk.. That last step is most important.

Sir, by plastic cover, do you mean the one at the very bottom right hand corner, with the two screws.

There is a plastic trim strip, about 3/4 in wide as it's inserted. That just pops out. It may have an anchor plate or tab at the very bottom/ends. It runs from the front all the way to the back.

furpod, I’m afraid it will make it worst if I start pulling the plastic trim off. I will send you a picture. Thx

The plastic trim just pops in to the aluminum trim piece, all it does is protect the screws under it, and what they do is secure the trim and sidewall in place.

Okay, furpod. I understand now. Thank you for your patience and knowledge. I think I will be able to fix this problem short of using duct tape. Have a great Easter day.
