Just got back from last camping season of the year and am going to winterise the RP 177.
I noticed on the frame behind the wheel on the left side there is a red and a blue short tube with caps on them . I did not see them until now and have never used them when winterising last year so I am wondering what advantage they are.
Oh yes , I closed the bypass valve to the hot water tank and drained it from the big plug from the outside  last year .  It there any way of getting around that this year ?  ?
Hoping for answers soon as I would like to get at it today if possible . Thanks .

The two drains are your low points, open them to drain most of the water from the lines, then close them before pumping in the pink, this means less antifreeze needed to displace water.

The only way to drain the WH is by pulling the anode. No way around it.

Thanks for the quick response . Much appreciated .
That bypass sure is in an awkward place under the mattress and the plywood under the mattress .

What I do is, set to bypass, do my winterization, set the bypass BACK to summer. That way, I am only under there once a year. I also cut the bed panel so I only have to open the part over the WH. 2 screws and lift, easy peasy.
