It's supposed to hit the streets "this year". It is different from all the other R-pods, as the wheels are under, as opposed to outboard. The GVW is going to be just north of 4700 lbs, so figure a ballpark tongue weight around 600 lbs.

Because of the differences, I personally would not want the first year version.

There is another thread running on the 195 with a bunch of information and discussion.

Like many others, I am new to this forum. I ordered a 195 and it is SUPPOSED to be ready for pick up in May.   I am excited!

Do you mind mentioning how much the dealer is charging for the RP195? I'm trying to get an idea of what it would be to upgrade to one. The two dealers near me said they couldn't tell me until they arrive.

Sure, Stephen, I ordered the r pod from Couch in Ohio. I hope that that dealer is ok. The price was $5,00 less than here in here in Florida. I will have to drive there to pick it up as delivery charge is $1.50 per mile. I ordered my 195 with microwave, T V, tongue jack; the cost was $16,400!

I have a question. I have a new dodge Durango with tow package. It is rated to tow 62,000 pounds. Will I have a problem towing the 195?

I think you meant 6,200 pounds. I assume it's a V6? We also have a new Durango V6 towing a 179 and it handles the job with no issues. The 195 is a little heavier, but the Durango shouldn't have a problem.

With an empty weight of 3350 pounds, I sure hope the 195 includes a 5000 pound axle.

Lol! Numbers are not my thing!   It is supposed to have a heavier axel. My late husband and I have had all sorts of rv ‘s; and they all had pros and cons! I think that the 195 will be best for my needs!

Wow....Dodge has really stepped up their game, that Durango can pull TWENTY smaller r-pods!
