I am a absolute camping nut. I can't shake it. I either go camping, think about going camping, talk about when I was camping, or go to R.V. dealerships, or shows. I love nothing better than sitting at my campsite and watching all the units come or go. It's so relaxing, and I get some good ideas about things I might want. I have a 2020 195 now, and I absolutely love it. I've had a few issues that are currently being addressed, and so far, Forest River has been great. I will be reviewing my experience with them shortly after getting my camper back, and I will report here what was done. I do however hate to have to admit, I really am so unhappy with the decision of forest river on adding the front window to the new R-pods. I luckily, got my new pod before the window was added. I see nothing but negatives from this change. The most obvious is leaks, this window will quite frequently under assault of 70 mile an hour winds. If towing in rain, it's under assault of 70 mile an hour wind driven rain. I also don't like a window right over my bed (the 195 has a bed in front, as several others do). This allows for noise, cold, and light to shine right on you while in bed. You would also need to hang black out curtains to keep any "activity" inside, from being the neighbors showcase cinema. I hope by the time I am buying my next pod this window is no longer on the camper.

Wow. Your post sent me looking at 2020s (i have a 2016 172). The only think I don't like is how dark it is. I'd love that front window. Smile Too bad (or maybe lucky for my bank account) the smaller ones don;t have it.

On our 2011 177 the window is by the bed.  We removed the original plastic tracks and flimsy curtain and replaced with a 2x cellular shade.  Much better, more privacy when needed, quickly opens up to let light and sunshine in, and much warmer when camping in cold weather.  When boondocking it is nice to leave open to look at all the stars, northern lights, and other cool stuff from the comforts of the bed.
