If I am posting this in the wrong place, feel free to move it.  I have to share this awesome story with you all!
******************************
Hubby and I picked up our 2010 R-Pod 175 from RightStopRV in Lebanon Junction, KY and brought it home on 6/29/10.  The dealership was easy to work with and we did not have any difficulty completing our purchase.  We camped in the driveway a couple of times, and took it out the weekend of 7/10/10 to General Butler State Park in KY.  We had a good trip and tested out all the features of our R-Pod.

Hubby decided to get the transmission serviced in our 2002 Chevy Blazer, and we took it into the shop on 7/12/10.  We had another camping trip planned and wanted to leave the afternoon of 7/14/10.  When we got our Blazer back from the shop, the transmission wasn’t acting right and we finally determined it was shot.

We still planned to go camping, but we would not be able to take our camper as we have no other vehicle to haul it.  We called around to a couple of places to try and rent a vehicle, but you really can’t rent one if you are hauling with it.  I had my hubby call our RV Dealer, just to see if they knew of anyone who rented vehicles for hauling.  They didn’t know of anyone.

Disappointed, we started taking our items out of the camper and preparing to tent camp.  While we were outside re-arranging everything, the RV Dealer (Bob) called back, they said they would LOAN us a truck so that we could still haul our camper.  We were very happy with this news and went to go pick up the truck (which belongs to Gary who works at the RV Dealership.)  We got it hooked up to the camper, all our items packed inside and took off for our trip, at this point only delayed by a couple of hours.

About 30 miles from home, the borrowed truck started pinging and actually stalled out.  We managed to get turned around and into a gas station parking lot.  We called our brother in law, who has a vehicle that could tow our camper home.  We called Bob and Gary to let them know the truck konked out.

We sat in the parking lot and waited, and waited.  Of course we were not happy but at this point we had resolved that we would get our camper home, re-group and once again planned to go tent camping.  The RV dealer called to let us know they had a flat tire in their vehicle on the way to rescue their truck, but they were on the way.

Our brother in law arrived, and shortly after Bob from the RV dealership pulled up in the parking lot with Gary in a separate truck.  Bob insisted that we take the Ford Dually (sp?) and leave.  We transferred our items from the broken down truck to the Ford and took off for the weekend.  Without any further problems, we arrived at our campsite around 10 pm.

We had a wonderful long camping weekend, we were at a cave campout (people who explore caves), and many of our friends were there.  We showed off our camper numerous times, everyone who saw it loved it.  We also told our story of getting there many times too.

We dropped off the truck back to Bob today (7/19), after having it since 7/14.  Bob was as gracious as ever.  I am still in shock and amazed that they would loan us 2 different trucks just so we could get to take our camper.  It is nice to know that there are still some very wonderful folks out there in this world.

I wanted to give credit to Bob and Gary from Right Stop RV in Lebanon Junction, KY.  Here is a link to their website:  http://www.rightstoprv.com

Caver Pod,
I got my '13 RP 177 from Right Stop RV. Great group of people.   Very helpful and through with the walk through. They even showing me how to winterize. Opening the panels and showing me the bypass and where to hose is for the antifreeze. Way cool!

The financing and paperwork was easy and explained in detail. The reason I purchased from Right Stop was the service and knowledge of this RV Dealership's crew. Also, they were highly recommended by the FurPod    Glad to hear your experience was great!

Donna and I bought our 2011 RP-172 from Rite Stop. great bunch of people, the walk through was very extensive. They even set up the R Dome and took it down, they went through winterization and most things you will run into. these people are also campers and understand beginners questions. They did a good pre delivery because I have not had one problem with the pod or any appliances since we bought it new. New Car dealers could learn a lot from these people.
