Hi Guys !

I have a question and wonder if anyone has done this.
I do not use the toilet in my camper rpod178. I can not stand the smell of the blue chemical nor do I want to drop one next to my head...
I prefer the campground toilet or if I am in the bush, a shovel will do.
So when I camp I have 30 gallons of grey water to dump.
So since I do like to shower, I want to mix the shower water to dump in the black tank... so I do not have to hook up again drive to the dump station etc...
So I want to have both tanks converted to grey.
I actually remove my toilet, due to space, and I could just see my self falling over and breaking a leg...
So any suggestions ?
Also any way to just post a picture without having to go to google etc ?
IS this ever going to change ?
I wanted to share some images of shelves I added over the bed and over the dinning table... I tried before but no go.
I want to share with you guys because I found a great way to add storage.

Best

JS

I have not done this, however, GOOGLE "combining grey and black water tanks" and the amount of info is good. Several methods detailed, one with a parts list, you're going to have to do some valve mods and of course plumbing.

Folks have combined, yet seems too much of a PITA for me to tackle.

I use the toilet yet only for liquids, road stops or at night. We dump sink gray down the toilet (always use a container in the sink) to share the load and save the gray for showers. As much as possible, I shower outside, again saving tank space.

My Rpod is not my forever trailer, so any mods I do make I make in mind of the next owner as well as me.

Another consideration is weight. If you really combine and fill both gray and black tanks that’s 500 lbs of water, not counting anything remaining in the fresh water tank. For me, I might consider removing the black tank but I wouldn’t attempt to fill both the waste tanks at the same time. One other consideration is unless you plan to keep your trailer forever removing the toilet will greatly effect your resale opportunities.

Did not think about the weight...
I would keep filling the drinking water to the tank...
However the only thing I want to drain in the black tank is the shower.
I already removed the toilet, I found it to be a bit dangerously close to the little room I had to shower in and I camp in the cold weather and mostly alone so I did not want any accidents...
And yeah, I do not think I would be getting another camper unless this one dies...
I love mine Rpod !

Best !
