Yes, will vent the Pod. Good tip
No gas or battery hook up yet, just on house power.

Might want to pull the 12v fuse and check the voltage across the contacts in the fuse panel with a multimeter.  Possibility of low voltage, just a thought and that fuse in my 2019 179 is fuse #3 which is labled LP, WH, MP, Pump (which stands for LP; LP/CO tester, WH; water heater control circuit, MP; monitor panel (tank levels) and Pump; powers the water pump)  Hope this helps

I was going to suggest replacing it.  They all have an expiration date, and I suppose it's possible some of them don't live as long as expected.  Anyway, they are totally unnecessary unless you have a CO problem, in which case they can save your life.  I do not recommend removing it without replacing it.

+1 to TT, they do go bad and have expiration dates. I haven't looked at mine in awhile.

+2 to TT.  Replace it if it doesn't work.

+3 Looks like most of these detectors have a useful life of about 5 years, which could be about right for a 2016 depending on how long the detector sat on the shelf. There's probably is a date code on it as well. Just in case it might help you can try cleaning any dust or crud out of it first.

Thank you for all the helpful suggestions. Will start with the fuse, then go from there.
Possibly due for a new one, as I didn't realize they need to be replaced.

Mine was out of warranty, 60 bucks at Camping World. Ordered replacement , no issues but sensor is important. Replace it.

Thanks mcarter,
Being in Canada I'm paying double, but yes, it's going to be replaced.
