   Hi again, looking for thoughts on r-pod tires. Have you had issues. I have 15 “ made in China. New unit with tires manufactured in Dec. 2018. And recommendations in replacements? High speed .. all terrain... brand??

	December 18 should be fine for awhile, 5 year replacement interval is generally recommended. If you want to upgrade get ST (special trailer) tires. I recommend load range D. 190's have a pretty heavy axle load. E's are the highest but have really stiff sidewalls so can be overkill. Speed rating should be J (62 m/h), L (75 m/h) or m (81 m/h) depending on how you drive. Unless you're a speed demon towing the m's are overkill too. Forget all terrain, that just increases rolling resistance and tire wear. They're not drive wheels. I'm personally fine with Chinese tires as long as they are properly rated. That's what I run and I haven't had any problems.

	I personally got rid of the stock tires on my 190. My Discount Tire guy said wasn’t a matter if they blow but when. Heard to many stories about them blowing out. I bought the Hartland trailer tire ,which was formally Carlisle. Highly recommended by Discount Tire. Went with load range E.

	Good Year Endurance, 225/75R15 E will fit. a little snug to the fender, but I've put over 2K miles on them with no rub or issues.

	Think twice before getting load range E’s. They have very stiff sidewalls and can cause unnecessary vibration in the trailer. The Cs the rpods come with are a bit marginal for the axle loads. Ds provide a good load capacity safety factor without being as stiff as the Es. It’s kinda like Goldilocks and the 3 bears.

	If you are concerned about the country of origin of tires, check for the specific tire you propose to purchase. Many manufacturers, including Carlisle, build some of their tires here in the US while others are from China or other countries. We bought a set of load range D tires for our Pod and it turned out they were from China. The tires performed very well up through the time we sold our Pod.
