Cool, I towed for a bit with a 2006 Silverado 5.3 and now have a 2014 Silverado 5.3. No issues. TVs get more bells and whistles, I like the integrated brake controller on the 14 over the 06 add on controller, but both worked. Both of mine where/are 4 wheel drives.

We camped last week at Moccasin Creek State Park near Clayton Ga . Small campground on Lake Burton. Stays full most of the time but we got lucky on a weekday reservation. Unicoi State Park  , Tugaloo State Park, I like state parks as you can see. Vogel State Park. Would not recommend Amicalola or Black Rock Mountain . Steep grades and narrow roads . Amicalola has a 27% grade up to the campground. As for private Georgia Mountain Fair Campground is excellent . It's in Hiawasse Ga . On Lake Chatuge. Google can do better than I . Happy camping !

Sounds like some nice parks.

27% shouldn't be a problem unless you have a loose surface and no 4wd. The state maintaned gravel road to my property has several sections that steep and I go up and down it fine towing. My daughter and son in law have taken their 38 ft class A up and down it as well. Just take it slow and steady. There are also many forest service roads with grades like that. We have small trailers meant to enjoy those kind of destinations.

The narrow roadway is more of a problem, possibly.  Vehicles heading up have the right of way but vehicles towing have the right of way both up and down so unless you're going down and just happen to meet another trailer going up you should be fine. To avoid that particular situation you can leave early in the morning when headed out.
