For those of you with 179's that have removed the right hand "foot stool" how did that work out?  I'm considering doing that on our next outing since we don't use it much for storage and it would give us a bit more floor space.

Thanks,

Easy to remove. Mine was held in place with 2 screws into the floor.

+2. It was easy to take out, and we really like it better without it.

We use ours for shoe storage. My wife likes it because she sits there and likes to prop up her feet on it. I use it to help me climb over her legs when I get into bed or get up (We sleep with our heads toward the wardrobe side as it helps block both light and some of the AC sound and keeps our heads away from the water pump sounds).
