WATER HEATER IGNITION BOARD

   Sorry for the delay.

My ignition control board, on the 2018 179, is located under the bed Taped to the water heater. As suggested remove tape an tape from back of circuit board an look at Q3. if you note a burn mark the board, it is bad. You can also have the board it tested, by RV dealer, allegedly.
The black box you referred to, contains the reset switches, for both the 120 volt (left)  and 12 volt (right) systems. There are several YouTube videos on these items.

I don’t recommend unsafely lighting it from the flume.

	Kahonu37, Thanks for the input, I found the reset switches they are above the gas valve, a big square rubber cover with two resets on it. the one I was referring to is under the gas valve to the right. it's an oval cover down near the bottom next to the electric switch. we're heading back home in the morning. I plan to take a hard look at it when I get back. thanks for letting me know where the sensor is, I'll let you know how it goes, thanks again.
