I know there was a discussion on grills recently, I just couldn't find it. I am reluctantly abandoning my webber Q1200 grill for what I hope is a better model. I just ordered a Cuisinart CGG-306 Chef's Style Propane Tabletop Grill, Two-Burner, Stainless Steel grill. I think i've seen many of these on other campers sites as I've walked through campgrounds. I am interested in it only as an open rack grill. I have a griddle top blackstone that I love. Anybody have any good/bad opinion on this? I usually only cook for my wife and I, so it's plenty big enough. Thanks for your input.

Looks nice but how do you get a whole bird on it?

I can cook two birds (small chickens) on my Q.

I've had my Q for seven years and use it a lot - two or three times a week. New regulator, new top, new burner, new grates. All parts easy to get and replace. Easy to clean. It is a bit bulky, but found a perfect size plastic bin to carry it in when camping.

That's my two cents...

Looks interesting. I don't know anybody that has one. I'm a Q guy, I had one Q, old style I had for 13 years. It had the single grill, I cut in half to have two grills. My current Q doesn't fit in the rear storage on my 178, without removing the lid. I read 6 or 7 pages of the Q/As and it seemed promising. Cuisinart makes good stuff, it is SS and weighs about 20lbs. I'd say go for it. I like the two burner option. I would appreciate a review after you use it. It has some nice options. Bit pricey, but what aint.

I have no experience with either of those, but I can tell you that all the other grills I've had lasted a few years before they turned into molten slag, but my Weber Genesis is 6 years strong and still going. The other really nice thing about a Weber grill is that you can order spare parts for them. You pay a bit more, but you may only be making one trip to the store.
