I’ve had intermittent issues with my furnace. Sometimes worked sometimes not. I banged it once in frustration and then it started. I pulled it out by undoing the two screws in the front and pulled hard on the inside heat exchanger to disengage it from the pipes in the outside wall. Checked all switches for operation and eventually traced the issue to the coil on the circuit board that was so badly soldered it literally fell off the board when I touched it. I resolver the coil leads tot he board and then found a capacitor loose.  If you have trouble with your furnace starting do check the circuit board for poor quality soldering. Works like a charm now!
