I live in the Northeast with plenty of property for a storage building.  Anyone have suggestions for purchasing or constructing storage for my R-Pod (195).  I've been looking at ShelterLogic buildings but by the time I fine one with an opening tall and wide enough to get my unit into it, I'm looking at about $4000.

Have you considered just building one?  The taller door - at least 10.5 ft - makes it hard to find a prebuilt one, and my contractor friend says he can build cheaper.  Mine fits nicely in an 18x 36 with room for stuff, wall plugs , etc.

How would those tent style garages hold up to the wind, snow and UV light? Seems to me the lifespan may not be cost effective when compared to a stick framed garage that would last a lifetime.  How long is the warranty on the cover?  What would it cost if you had to replace it?

Up to 3 year warranty.  Certified for snow, wind, rain.  I have a friend who has two on his property for farm equipment storage.  One is over 10 years old (cover replace twice).  https://www.shelterlogic.com/shop/storage-solutions/rv-storage

I have considered building it, time permitting so that's why I was looking for alternate ideas of what works for others..
