Hi gang, looking for some ideas on building a DIY small table (preferably collapsible and light weight) to go over the outside wheel well for holding a coffee pot and a couple mugs. Post pics if you have any. Tks

Someone on here made one using rubber wheel chocks on the underside (upside down) to keep it in place...very clever.

I have a Tailgator Tire Table, did a review on this site. Google Tailgator Tire Table you'll find it, had mine two or three years, like it.

Here's the table I built. It's not collapsible, but it works great.

We use a 24"x48" folding plastic table from walmart item# 584881700. It folds in half to a 24"x24" for travel. The legs are telescoping and raise in multiple heights to 34 inches. It fits nicely over the fender and travels well on top of the retracted dinette table of our R-pod 178.

Sorry cannot supply a pic......I built such a table many years ago. It is about 30 x 24 inches, plywood. I cut a curved plywood piece that matches the wheel guard with a 1 x 1 1/2 strip on top. This strip has 1/4 dowels that fit into holes drilled in the top. I made two braced legs attached with hinges to the underside that fold down and rest on the ground. This has seen sterling service and supports quite heavy weight. Ideal for outside cooking.
