The closet that is in the slide out has a water leak that has damaged the wood trim at the bottom edge.  I am guessing that I need to reseal the top portion of the pull out?  Has anyone run into this issue?  I only noticed it while I was making a shelf for the closet so I don't know how long it has been going on.  The damaged trim appears to be some sort of manufactored wood so it doesn't take much water to make it go soft.

I looked at the top of the slide out and it looks like they used eternabond tape along the top outer edge.  Where the screws are the tape isn't bonded tightly.  I am guessing I need to get some 2" eternabond and reseal?  Is that the original factory method for sealing the top outer edge?

To my knowledge there is no eternabond tape on a trailer from OEM.
