I am soon to get a RPod 190 and want to replace the house battery with Lithium (Battle Born). I want to place the battery on the inside of the unit both for theft reasons and for temperature reasons. Where have others placed the lithium batteries in the RPod 190? Ideally eventually I plan on getting two 100AH batteries. Looking for ideas on where to place them inside the tiny 190. Is this even possible?

I apologizing for starting a new thread as a new user. I searched for others that have done this but could not find a thread that discussed placing batteries inside the 190.

Can’t answer for the 190. In the179 there is an unused area just in front of the closet under the bed that can work well. Generally, look for any unused area where the battery will be protected from “stuff” encroaching on it and is adjacent to the heated space. You want to always keep Li batteries above freezing. The ideal location will also minimize the length of the wire run to the electric panel.

Thanks, Once I get it I will post pictures if I ever get all this figured out. But first have to save up for the crazy cost of lithium. I have the solar package that came with it. Hopefully that will work with a lithium setup. I plan to slowly upgrade this system to a couple Lithium batteries.

Look in the cabinet or space behind and/or adjacent to where the converter is installed. That's where I mounted the BattleBorn in my 171.

Be aware that you also need to change the converter to one that is lithium compatible.

Or, you can keep the original lead acid batteries and converter as I did, and build a hybrid system...which works well for me.
