You might want to check the cold water feed line to the kitchen faucet for a blockage or blockage on the cold side of the faucet. Find an air compressor some where and use low air pressure to blow out the line. Low air pressure being under 40 psi. What would cause this is construction debris. Hope this helps.

+1 Also check under your sink to see if your cold water line is kinked. Did the cold line ever function properly? Otherwise your line is either kinked or it came from the factory with debris in the line and as JR rightly states, a compressor will blow that out.

I just had the same problem and the easiest fix is to unscrew the strainer off of the faucet, clean out the blockage in the strainer and reattach. Make sure you note how the parts are assembled.
Hope this fixes it, it did mine. Mike (getting ready to head out to Amana, Ia. for the R-Pod Octoberfest.)
