After a weekend of tent camping with our 1-year-old daughter, my wife and I decided it was time to purchase a travel trailer. We found a hardly-used 2016 R-Pod 171 on OfferUp and are excited to take our first trip this weekend. I've already been doing some maintenance (had to replace a broken filter on the water pump), and I'm sure I'll be posting on this forum with tons of questions in the coming weeks. Excited to join the club!

Welcome and congratulations on your new-to-you RPod! I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories with it. We have enjoyed our 2016 RP179 very much.

Nice looking pod, setup and rig.  Congratulations!  Like StephenH above we have enjoyed our 2011 177 for nearly 11 years with minimal "issues."  Noting that you have the dome a couple upgrades you may wish to make (unless the previous owner already did these) would be to get better suction cups than the originals, we got some at Walmart - they stick 10x better than the originals.  Also the original tent stakes are about as solid as colby cheese, they nearly bend in your hand as you hold them.  We also purchased some 8" tent stakes that work really well and don't pull out of the ground unless you are keeping your dome up when winds exceed 25 mph - we don't - to avoid damage to the dome.

Ask away on your 24/7 owners manual here.  We have benefited greatly from others on this forum, am sure you will also.

Haha yeah I already added suction cups to my list, those things fell off after all of 10 seconds...
