The āLā shape support arm for the seat cushions is coming apart on our 2014 R-Pod 178. The horizontal piece is bending and cracking, and on the vertical section the screws have ripped out and are cutting the back of the seat cushion. Has anyone experienced this and/or have a solution? |

We removed ours after the first season to convert to a bed. They had pulled out of the wall soon after we bought our pod. Repaired the holes in the wall with some patch stuff I had left over from a boat repair. In my mind they are really just cosmetic. They were in the way when sitting on the end of the bench.

Although we haven't experienced this on our 2011 177 I have seen mods where the owner took a piece of 1/2" plywood and cut it out to the same shape, sanded then coated it with either polyurethane or a color of their choice and re-installed. Looked great and solved the problem.
