first trip!!

   We had been dying to get the RPod out on a shake down trip and finally decided on Poinsett State Park in SC. We pushed all the buttons. Ran the furnace. Cooked (didn't use the convection oven) and everything worked like it should. The frig did get colder than expected, but I wont complain about that. No issues at the dump station. No problems driving or PARKING! 
Poinsett was a nice campground. Good amount of space between sites. Clean. The road in was a little bumpy, but we figured we would hit a bumpy road sooner or later and we might as well see what was going to shake loose. Nothing did. Poinsett is 20 minutes from Congaree NP. Spent a lovely afternoon there. 

We also meet a couple in a 196 in a rest stop. They were super nice and shared lots of tips with us RPod  newbies. 

We arrived home in time for the hubs to winterize the camper. It went fairly smoothly-thanks to all the tips learned on forums and youtube.

We can't wait to head back out.
