Okay. As the sag in the tank flattens, you will get water dripping. The only other possibility is that the city water connection is seeping through the check valve in the water pump. If you put the cap back on and your tank fills, that will verify that it is a check valve issue. The way to resolve is to have enough water in the tank to run the pump. Let it cycle several times and whatever is in the check valve should be flushed out. Even so, you might still have water dripping unless you tilt the RPod and get more water out of the drain so that it is not high enough to be at the level of the drain.

With a full tank, I ran the pump and let it cycle. It worked fine. Like you say, it should have flushed the check valve. It looks like it should stop dripping eventually.
