Jensen Television Closeout

   Our Jensen TV malfunctioned on this trip. It would look like it was turning on. It would show the splash screen, but as soon as it went to the channel screen, it would shut down. I was at Camping World for another reason (replacement cap for the black water flush port which got taken off when the tire blew out) and asked about televisions. The young lady said they don't have any on display and that they were discontinuing selling them.
What she also said was that they had a Jensen 19" television (the same model as came with the RPod) in stock. I had wanted to get a 12V television to replace mine, but when she looked up the price of the Jensen 19" 110V model, it was $21.42 after the 5% clearance discount and the 5% military discount (plus sales tax). Given that I would likely have paid about 10 times that before closeout, I figured I could continue to use an inverter to run it when I wanted to use it when we don't have shore power available.

If anyone wants to replace a television or just get one as a backup, then this is probably something to check out. I don't know how many are in stock at the various Camping World locations, but when they are gone, so is this bargain.
