Topic: RPod 190 stock 1 1/4 hitch receiver question Posted: 17 Jun 2023 at 1:42pm |
Does anyone know the weight capacity of the stock hitch receiver on a 2022 RPod 190?
Would it be safe to use a 2inch adapter so that I could utilize my cargo carrier? Is there a way that I could hold on a separate 2 inch receiver? Ideally just hauling some wood, cargo, or bikes. https://ibb.co/pXXw4Tc Thanks in advance! |

You'll probably get more precise replies but my 172 (2016) had a 100 lb weight limit. I doubt they are different as they are intended to carry the spare only

Yeah it seemed rather flimsy so I figured it wouldn’t be much. Thanks for the reply!

Agreed! Plus, adding weight on a cargo carrier could possibly throw the balance off and put you at greater risk for sway.
