Hey guys, I am looking to replace the ceiling speakers as one of them sounds popped.

Try to pry the edge, but it doesn't seem like the cover will come off easily.

Any tricks?

Thanks.

I don't have it to check, but is it a twist cover? Are there screws that are not easily visible? The ones in our new GW have screws.

I don't remember how, but recall it fairly easy. You may find the sound improves after cleaning all the construction debris from the back. I found a screw on one magnet, styrofoam beads, and sawdust all laying on the cones.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Finally was able to remove the covers, had to use a flat tool to carefully pry the edge to separate the cover from the speaker itself.

There were indeed quite some construction debris in both speakers, and after cleaning them out. they sounds a lot better.

Now onto the exterior speakers :)
