I have a 2016 R Pod 176.   The fridge will not cool on gas.  The ignitor will light and the chimney will get hot, but the fridge will not work. I cannot find the model of the fridge anywhere.  The label inside the fridge says 8R series, but I cannot find the model number anywhere.  I think it may be the thermistor, but when removing the outside panel, I cannot find where the thermistor wires plug in so cannot test the thermistor.  Thought about just ordering another one.  Only about $15 on Amazon.  But would like to know where they plug in on the back of the fridge outside.  Also, what might be another problem or problems that I may look at.  Is it necessary that camper be exactly level.  It is almost level, but the bubble on my level is off just a bit...Any help will be appreciated.

My 192 has to be really level to get cold.  Does it get cold on shore power?

I think I found the problem.  The Pod has to be hooked to a DC battery or shore power for fridge to work even when on propane, I think.  I do not have  a battery hooked up to Pod and don't have shore power.
Pod has been sitting under shelter for about 5 years with no use.  My wife and I camped several times between 2016 and 2019.  She was then diagnosed with ALS and we could no longer camp.  Pod was placed in barn out of weather and has not been used.  Getting camper cleaned up and making sure everything works before selling it.  Ignitor lights and chimney gets hot, but that is it.  I have a generator that I hook up to the Pod and the fridge will work on AC mode.  Going to hook up bsttery today and see if that will help.  And make sure that it is level.  Thanks for your response...If you have any other ideas, please let me know.  I will let you know how I come out today...

Sorry to hear about your camping partner.  As to the R-Pod you are correct, the battery has to be connected for the fridge to work because the controlling board needs 12v electricity for the fridge to operate. I believe it needs the 12v power to have the fridge operate correctly on gas or 120v, and obviously on 12v power. Hope you get it up and running.
