Welcome!  We've done the same with our kids in cheerleading.  We spend most weekends in October at a campground about 30 minutes away which is close to their home field.  With practice on Saturdays and games on Sundays it makes it easier - plus it lets us get some camping in when we otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Welcome, I'm sure your Pod will be a great asset while at softball tournaments.  Many years ago we did the same thing, but without a trailer.  It would have been nice to get out of the heat at times.  Have fun.

Just wrapped up our first weekend with our 173. Gotta say that this forum was very helpful in making sure we were as prepared as possible - thank you all! Things went smoothly. Just a few items to fine tune for next weekend. We like to camp but life has been too busy. Our daughter plays tournament softball and we have 14 scheduled tournaments this spring/summer. Plan on setting up in ball park parking lots around the midwest and then camping when campground is convenient to ballpark. It seems people are suprised when they first take a look inside. They don't expect it to be as nice as it is.
