I had to take our Pod to the DMV today to get it registered. It was about 30 miles round trip, first time towing anything and quite a windy day in the north east Shocked. I have to say I was a lot of bit nervous because I am still waiting for parts for the sway control and wasn't sure how it was going to drive. After 3 plus hours at the DMVCensored it's all registered and I'm feeling slightly more confident about towing it. I  am hoping that the equalizer hitch takes some of the herky jerky out of the ride though. The car said the average mpg was about 9.5, not surprised, but still not happy.  Oh and the parts I was waiting for arrived while I was gone.

Now you should have a better ride!  When you get to tow again in the wind let us know what the difference is.

We had a equalizer hitch and returned it because it was too close to the ground. That was about a year ago. We installed the risers and reordered the equalizer hitch, the hitch should arrive tuesday. Looking forward to know how it changes the handling of our Liberty while towing the Rpod.       David and Danette

I towed mine for over a year w/o any sway control or WDH, and adding my Equalizer E2 made a world of difference.  I was able to raise my L-bars (the parts that are on the 'pod) up a notch after adding my risers.
