I think the "Hill Country" is the best part of Texas!  I forget what town it was that my wife and I went to for some good German food.  It was great!  We were spending the winter in our motorhome in Castroville at the time.

Might have been Fredricksburg, heavy German ancestry. We drove up from Kerrville and spent a day there.  While we were there, a festival was going on complete with biergarten and music !!
