We camp in Rocky Mountain National Park every couple of years.  We were there with our Pod last fall, and won't make it this year if things go as planned.  We love camping in Colorado!

I wish I were closer... I'd roast some marshmallows with you.  Smile  Of course, we'd have to get to know each other first.  Tongue

Welcome to the family.

Thanks for the welcome.  Met a "podder" with the r-dome up, this past summer in Algonquin park.  At time was a choice of r pod or a pro-lite.  Those friendly folks pretty much sealed the deal for the r pod.  This is my first trailer always a tenter before and still love the tent, but at 62 we thought maybe time for a bathroom at night... Hope to meet some podders this summer.. and have to come up with a name for our pod.

Welcome, Ron! We hope you enjoy your Pod as much as the rest of us Enjoy ours!
Just a note... I found that the plastic 1/4" cable clamps are not sturdy enough to stand up to the task. I have replaced them with larger metal ones or with the omega shaped ones.
Have fun creating your own environment and mods! Walt

I use so called sheet metal screws in the pod. They have a finer thread than wood screws and hold better in the thin plywood of the pod walls. For the rack ijust inside the door on the outside of the shower wall, I used 1 1/4 inch ones, as there is about one inch of wall thickness (to allow for the shower controls) and there was some depth of wood to go through We only hang lightweight items there - no winter coats yet! So it might be that I end up with plastic expandable inserts in the final analysis.

We have discovered that the little plastic cable ties are not strong enough to handle the rigors of in and out placement and removal of clothes and the like. They work fine in the kitchen where the little racks are resting on the counter, but over the bed, they have broken. I have replaced them with the Closetmaid hanger devices, although they are more expensive.

Good luck!
