Just wanted everyone to know that I bought a brand new 2010 left over in deal stock from Colonia Del Rey. Brought it home after their PDI process and they got their money and found five issues with it. the first few days I found trim above the tent area loose. I fixed it and their response was "Well we are not perfect". I opened the tent area up and found the Velcro coming loose, and the tent stiching in the lower corners torn. When you fold up the tent the area in the lowers corners gets really tight. Their repsonse "We will have to send the pictures you took to Froest River and let them make the decision", two weeks later no decision. No detailed instruction on how to fold it up, either take it off the board or leave it on, I take it off for a "No Stress" concern. I found the wire harness that I had looped around the jack worn from were it was dragged down the road. The dealers response "well you must have let it drag down the road". This is not by any means my first rodeo pulling a trailer and was insulted and no repair offerd. The plates came by mail and I went to put them on Sunday and found the left rear emergancy exit slide window broken and on the ground. Their response "we will have to send the pictures youtook to Forest River and let them decide". Their decision "it looks like it was impacted". My response " there was no glass inside and the screen not broken". Their respone "sorry its yours". Very unprofessional from all behalves. Not one thing was taken care of and there seems to be a lack of intrest much less reponse from FR on the tent. Willnever buy from this dealer again and never again a FR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand your frustration with that dealer! I suppose they couldn't care less about repeat or referral business with that attitude.

When we bought our unit last February we went to the Big Daddy of them all in RV's in Florida (they claim to be the biggest in the world). They shall remain nameless and likely shameless (hint dealer's name rhymes with Crazydays). In any event, our unit walk through was a joke. The guide knew nothing about our unit. We specifically told them we were first time rv'ers...so we didn't know anything either and needed a really good "how to" session. It was a total waste of time for our "comprehensive walk through and all questions answered" tour.

Our unit was not ready when we got there---they couldn't find the AC filters, the television or the RDome. They eventually found the items and after three exhausting hours of waiting, we just towed the Pod out of there. When we had a small issue with the tent velcro (similar to yours it sounds), we just fixed it ourselves. They may claim to be the biggest in the business but they let us down and we will never go back.

When you act in good faith, pay good money and get lousy back--it galls! Businesses ought to know that when you are happy you tell one person on average, when unhappy you tell NINE people on average.

Well said in my thoughts. I really dont understand how anybody can stay in business that way. In my situation I bought a brand new one, although it was last years model, and well thats what I got. Thanks for the input and hopefully Forest River and or my dealer and yours will read these comments. Your statement about telling others. Well that is true but in todays electronic age it is 10000000 time fold...
