Heretical Thoughts on "Winterizing"

I'm going by what I've read on other forums.  Under pressure, it's been reported to break and need replacing.  As with anything I guess, your mileage may vary.    I prefer releasing the pressure to avoid the potential issue, since having the lines pressurized during storage are not a requirement for proper winterization anyway.
