You can buy blanks that will screw into the threads, or you can use the adapter with the shrader valve in it.  Might as well put it to good use the other 99.99999% of the year.

What was strange about mine was that it was a little tacky.  It didn't just break.  It kind of stretched and broke.  I don't want a bunch of road grime getting in there so I'll cover it up with something.

Both of ours, the fresh water strap and the fill strap broke off in the cold at the Grand Canyon, I bought replacements for both for less than $10. at a RV supply called Orangewood Rv.I also had my vinyl tank cover shred to pieces in the cold so I am replacing it with the hard cover. One of my tire covers, facing the sun when in storage also shreded the vinyl. So, most plastic or vinyl will give out with too much heat or cold! Since I got 2 good years out of them I am ok.

The plastic "tether" to my fresh water tank fill cap broke a couple of months ago.  I think the sun's UV "cooked" it brittle.  Now, I have to remember to put the cap in my pocket, in order not to forget it, when filling.

I would gladly pay an extra (very) few dollars it would take for better quality parts.

It seems I have seen (maybe at Camping World) lockable doors that can be just screwed and caulked in place over the existing ports/fills, etc.  I may have to order one or two this winter.

Electric hookup covers, water hookup covers, what is next?  Its not like these pods are more than a couple of years old.  For what its worth, the rubber cover on the water hookup on my popup came off years ago and I never replaced it.  The rest of the exterior accessories are still holding up after 13 years.

I had my Pod out for a couple of days using it as a man cave.  When I tried hooking up the fresh water hose the cheap little plastic/rubbery cover was mushy and ripped off.  So now I'll have to come up with something better to replace that thing.
