But I thought it was in the front corner?  I'm talking one of the corners over the toilet.

The 2011 171 does have the sink in the corner and lathering up using the sink is a great way of conserving water, thus, getting the job done.  The entire enclosure certainly is small.

It might have made a little more sense, to me, if they put the sink in one of the rear corners where it wouldn't be in your way as you showered.

I find it strange how FR mounted a permanent sink in the small wet bath.  I would've thought they'd mount a removable/modular one.  I do however, like how things were mounted in the corner in the new models.  In our 152, the taps are mounted dead center on the wall and I'm such a klutz that there is at least once per trip (no matter the length) where I will accidentally brush one of the taps on getting in and out of the bathroom and spray myself.  Cry Embarrassed  Not a problem if I'm showering, but annoying if I'm just using the loo.  LOL

SmileI use my sink to fill with hot soapy water....scrub myself and then use the shower...saves on water and I think a more efficient way of bathing.

There are also some that have used an extension bar to push (a different) shower curtain out into the hallway to extend the lateral room.

I really like the little camper alot.  I would like to have one.. without the wet bath.  It so small.. to me its useless.

We are about the same size, and the first few times I used the bathroom I left the door open.  After that I have used all the features with the door closed and it works fine.  It is no dance hall, but once used to the wet bathroom it is workable.

I like our little sink. With two or more in the pod it seems like someone is always washing dishes or something in the big (!) sink so being able to wash hands or brush teeth in the little sink is very handy.
We use one of those shower squeegy things to 'wipe' down the walls after showers. It came with a handy little hook which we installed near the ceiling so it is out of the way most of the time.
We shower with the door open and just the curtain pulled across the opening so the space is not so claustrophobic.

Took ours out, couldn't stand the goofy thing being in the way every time we showered.  And I hope I would actually enter the bathroom to wash my hands or brush my teeth, how silly would that be right??  LOL

I have a very noticeable spot where it used to be because the panel I got wasn't an exact match but I moved one of those black mesh holders over it hold our shampoo and stuff now so you don't even notice it.

We think it's a very welcome and good change.
