We made our first trip in new R-Pod 177 in February. I was very helpful to have the DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL CHECKLISTS which I found on this forum. Thank you to the folks who put together the original lists. Today I can't find them again, but want to publish the CHECKLISTS as we modified and added to them during our 28-day journey from Seattle area to Mesa, AZ. We did about 13 set-ups and departures and developed the following checklists. I hope these will be helpful to fellow R-Poders.

RPOD 177 CHECK LIST

 ARRIVAL

1. Line up power source plug-in and water input.
2. Complete first side-to-side level check.

If unhooking from tow vehicle:

□ 3. Chock wheels.

4. Disconnect tow chains & electric connection to tow vehicle.

□ 5. Release coupler and re-lock with coupler lock.

6. Raise/lower trailer hitch w/ tongue jack to level R-Pod (front to rear level).

□ 7. Lower trailer stabilizer jacks; do front first; re-check level.
□ 8. Open valve (turn to left) on top of propane tank.
□ 9. Test shore power with volt meter.
10. Install surge protector and lock it in place.
11. Connect shore power to trailer.
12. Install water pressure regulator and connect water supply hose.
13. Slide steps out and open door handrail.

20. Open bathroom vent. Depending on conditions, open at least one window.
□ 21. If not connected to TV cable outside, turn on TV booster.

□ 22. In either case, run TV station scan (instructions in TV manual).

DEPARTURE
1. Empty fresh water tank if needed.
2. Empty black water. Before disconnecting sewer hose from black water drain, connect fresh water hose to “Sewer Tank Flusher” and run water at full force to spray out inside of black tank.

3. Then empty grey water tank; when empty, be sure both slides are closed and caps secured.
4. Disconnect shore power and remove SURGE PROTECTOR; stow away.
5. Turn off hot water heater; close screen.
6. Disconnect and stow water hose and PRESSURE REGULATOR.
□ 7. Turn off propane tank (turn to the right).
Inside:

□ 8. Put refrigerator on battery.

9. Close bathroom fan vent.

10. Turn off TV booster.
