Good to know our pods are built solid. Been very windy here in Rodanthe the last few days! Our pod held tough, at times we had sustained winds at 10 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 28 mph. She just rocked with the wind, with an occaisional groan.
Windows all took the wind fine,we just had to keep the top fan lid down or we would probably be chasing it across the campground.

Hi All,

We weathered Sandy in Vermont fairly well. We ended up with some 38 mph winds with some gusts up to 60 mph and our pod took it in stride no damage to structure or windows.

Weathered 60mph winds in my Ipod at the Virginia State Trap Shoot in Winchester VA last July.  Turn out the  area was peppered with tornados,, very high winds (not gusts) and rain like you would not believe.  Most of us left our trailers (of all types) to get underground in the trap houses.
