You can also add some baking soda to the freshwater tank when you flush it in the Spring. Let the soda water stand in the tank for a few hours and then drain the tank and refill. I use RV antifreeze to winterize the Pod and in the Spring even after several flushes of fresh water I can still taste the antifreeze. But running some of the soda water through the water lines tends to remove the taste.
