Has anyone modified their R-Pod to add a front window?  We have a 177 model and think that would be great to have over the breakfast nook.

I'm not bad and constructing things and have a inkling just to design and add one, but wanted to ask if others have already gone this route.  Would add a lot of light where it's needed in daytime hours.

Let us know what you think.

Welcome!

I asked about the same thing two years ago with my 171 (same floorplan as yours, but the kitchen is inverted).  Someone, I don't remember if it was Forest River or elsewhere, claimed it couldn't be done.  The argument may have been due to the supports in the wall, but personally I don't see why it couldn't be done if the window was framed out correctly.  The catch is the front wall has a sharp curve to it so it may be difficult to fit a flat RV window into the area.  It will need to have a travel cover like other RVs have for protection during towing.

I too think the curve is to radical for a flat window in the front of the Pod. A curved window could be done but that would be an expensive custom window.
