I replaced the nut on the neg battery terminal with a stainless wingnut.  When I put the pod away I pop off the battery cover and simply pull the negative cable.  Quick, cheap and easy!

That is what I did also, and it works.  I may install a real switch this spring, but I have gotten into the habbit of removing the battery and keeping it charged when I am not using the pod.  My Pod parking is acorss a paved alley from my house, and I ma thinking about having a cable bored over to the Pod to have power available.  That could change things too.
