Hi - I'm new here and new to r-pods but not new to RVs and camping.  We were originally looking at really small teardrops (Little Guy, Camp-Inn). While at a RV show recently we came across a couple of r-pods and basically said "This is it!"  It's not too big and it's not too small and it will do nicely as we enjoy camping in state and national parks.  We will mostly likely get the 177 floorplan probably early Spring.  Right now I'm enjoying going through the posts in this forum and I was happy to find a group of friendly pod owners!  Smile

Perhaps you have seen the movie, THE LONG LONG TRAILER with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz?  I had to chuckle, when I first saw the r-pods at the show I immediately thought of this movie and the "Bungalette":

We just bought the 178, the table is a little bigger than the 177, but basically the same floor plan. We bought ours from Richmond RV. ( Perhaps you have seen the movie, THE LONG LONG TRAILER). I love that movie, never cook in a moving RV!

Welcome!!

I do not believe you can go wrong with a 177.. although that couple extra inches in the new 178 looks nice..lol.

As far as the movie... Not only have we seen it, it's the ONLY DVD that has played in our pod in 2 years of ownership..

not that we watched it over and over, just that we watched.. one movie since buying the pod.

Thank you!  Smile  The 178 is nice with the bigger dinette.  Can't really go wrong with either floor plan.

The movie is funny and is perfect to watch while camping.  Not only you do not cook while the trailer is moving you also don't store a bunch of rocks and jellies- LOL!
